Reveratrol after Dr. Sass

Resveratrol is known to science because of its numerous positive pharmacological effects and not least because of the “French paradox” (Nancy-study).  This describes the fact that the French, in spite of high consumption of saturated fatty acids and nicotine, have a much lower rate (< 40 %) of cardiovascular disease through the regular consumption of red wine, because of the Resveratrol and other interesting polyphenols proanthocyanidins (OPC) and anthocyanins they contain.
